Two races down in my challenge!
So very humid!! Another 90-something percent humidity race. Took it easy-ish since this was the first time I’ve run two races in two days ever. I did push myself a little more towards the end and finished literally SECONDS off my prior 5-miler time!
Felt great after this race, both physically and mentally. The yell of encouragement I got from one of the girls in a running group I recently joined really helped push me on the last half mile. The Memphis running community is the best group of people I’ve ever met.
